Fluctus
Iceland
Fluctus, the sway of the waves on the coastal edge of what were once Viking lands.
The characteristic black color of the sand makes them practically unique in the world and betrays its volcanic origin.
It's known as Reynisfjara and is located on the South Coast of Iceland, just beside the small fishing village of Vík í Mýrdal.
